Books are a great blessing. They are the essence of the experiences of centuries of human life. They acquaint us with the thoughts and experiences of out ancestors. In our moments of loneliness they console us like sincere friends and rid us to our loneliness. They keep us acquainted with the ups and downs of life by providing us a useful fund of knowledge and information. But we must not connive at one thing. Where most of the books are useful companions , some of them may prove to be dangerous than poisonous snakes. These are books which are far more lethal for our moral well-being and prove to be more perilous than the worst of enemies. Therefore , we should observe the greatest caution in the selection of books for our study.
